Container City

I really wanted to sketch this artfully arranged pile of containers at Trinity Buoy Wharf on the Thames and finally made it on a Sunday morning, heading out on my own from my sketching party.  Dodging the rain and wind I had a great time.  There was a wedding being held there and I watched the various comings and goings from the caterers to the florists, guests bearing gifts and finally the bride in a classic London black cab.  I was finished by then, so took advantage of the empty bridal cab to take me to join my friends in The City for more sketching!
