A brand new sketchbook is a scary thing - that pristine white paper taunting you to blemish it and ruin the start of your new creative journey. Often my solution to this ordeal is to sketch my sketching kit - the pens, brushes and paints which I'll be using in the book. It's a relatively straightforward task and always enjoyable and for some reason always makes a very pleasing sketch. Here's what I took on holiday with me to Cornwall in 2023.

Frames Hand-made in Germany, solid wood from sustainable sources. No veneers, MDF or any other reconstituted materials. Every corner is glued, sealed and sanded to the join. All materials are 100% acid free and FSC certified Glazed with glass for A4, A3 and A2.
